Experimetal Jewellery

Driven by her belief in a universal language of shapes and symbols, Toronto, Canada-based jewellery designer Anne Sportun looks to nature for inspiration. Anne finds perfection in asymmetrical organic forms and subtly translates these images into her work.

By allowing pave-set diamonds to undulate on an irregular gold band, Anne combines traditional goldsmithing techniques with the unconventional. This brings a sophisticated dichotomy to her pieces. In her work and in her lie, she strives to balance the precious with the everyday.

Anne’s studio is located in a fast-paced urban environment; however, it is in the quiet of her lakeside cottage retreat where she rejuvenates her creativity by connecting to nature, along with her family and dog.

Awarded in Canada for her excellence in precious-metal work and contemporary design, Anne has only recently mad her work available to the international market. Her work is collected by those who share Anne’s vision of beauty in organic shapes.

Ann is currently honored by having the image of her hands and rings on the Canadian, United States postage stamp.
