Jamie's Painting & Designs
Jamie’s art career began back when she was a little girl doodling with a crayon and a piece of paper. After receiving her degree in Computer Art, she spent the next several years in the field of animation. She worked mainly in children’s educational software industry, designing the cartoon characters that interact with the children.
After her son was born she left the animation field to stay home, however, knowing that she would eventually return to an industry targeting children. After her daughter was born, she wanted to personalize her room with something unique and elegant. Not finding anything on the market she decided to create it herself, her Name Tile collection was born. Four years later her business has grown in leaps and bounds, Jamie’s Painting & Design now carries, ceramic birth certificates, ceramic name plaques, porcelain plates, porcelain ornaments, and the very popular ceramic name tiles.
Her whimsical products can be found all over the country today in catalogs, boutiques and websites. Her designs have also been featured in Better Home & Garden, Parents Magazine, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The CBS Early Morning Show, Extreme Make Over Home Edition and recently an entire segment about her and her business aired on a local San Francisco station, “A View From the Bay”.
